The publisher EBSCO has announced their release of a Web service to enable automated retrieval of journal usage data. It is available within EBSCOhost® Electronic Journals Service (EJS). The service allows the generation COUNTER reports by following the SUSHI standard (in statu nascendi).

EBSCO declares that customers of the Millennium Library technology platform will be able to automate the transfer of journal usage data from EJS for use within Millennium’s ERM module.
